To always better respond to the challenges of the sector, the Salon du Végétal has rethought the competition categories for the 2024 edition.
PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED IN 4 CATEGORIES :
- Varietal innovation (A) – New
Seeds and young plants horticulture & nursery - Vegetal commercial novelty : marketing concepts for plant sales (B) – New
- Products and services for the marketing and/or use of plants (C)
Supplies and materials, marketing support and design, packaging, digital… - Products, services and devices for landscaping design (D)
Outdoor planning, materials & surface covering, equipments and materials, services, maintenance products and treatments…
In order to truly be at the heart of innovation, the Varietal Innovation category is now open to non-exhibiting companies at the Salon du Végétal.
AN ADJUSTED APPLICATION CALENDAR:
Applications will open at the beginning of February, with 1 month for companies to “apply” by opening an application file via the competition website.
Subsequently, new submissions will no longer be possible, but candidates will have 2 weeks to complete and perfect their application, thus guaranteeing an optimal evaluation of their application by the jury.
Key dates :
- February 7th: applications open
- April 3rd: registration closes, candidates have 2 additional weeks to complete their file
- April 17th: competition closes
- Mid-May: pre-jury then announcement of nominees
- End of June: jury and announcement of winners
- September: official award ceremony during the Salon du Végétal

Being awarded a prize is :
Having a real commercial asset to demonstrate to your clients and prospects (buyers, landscapers, department managers, green area managers…) and therefore develop your company.
A jury of experts and professional of the branch will select for each category the best innovation, and the award ceremony will be held during the Salon du Végétal 2024 at the Exhibition Centre of Angers.
